Doris the Sheep

For the 10th anniversary of Waltham Abbey Wool Show (WAWS), I had an exciting opportunity to design a knitting pattern for their mascot, Doris the Sheep!
The aim was to create a pattern that would be printed in the show’s brochure, with the sheep themselves being displayed at the show that year. This project was an interesting challenge for me, as it was my first time officially working with someone else’s design.

The sheep were a big hit at the show- a lot of people asked if they could buy them from me! I also got a lot of requests for the border collie pattern, so I guess that’s my next project sorted.
